SECTION 22 – CATERING

This section explains the catering requirements at the event. The Organisers are encouraged to make sure that catering is available in the venue. The players as well as the Referees and Umpires (and Line Judges) should have access to food and drinks throughout the event.

If catering is not available in the venue, the Organisers must inform all participants where it is possible to buy food and drinks, and they must consider that longer breaks will be needed for the technical officials if they have to leave the venue to eat.

1. Meal tickets

Using meal tickets is a good system to ensure that quantities of food match the demand. Meal tickets can be sold prior to the event which gives good time for planning. A more flexible solution is to sell meal tickets for the next day at the venue.
